CivicConnect Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of CivicConnect (the "Services"), operated by TeAM. By using CivicConnect, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use CivicConnect. By using the Services you represent that you meet this requirement.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Services, including by impersonating officials, submitting unlawful content, harassing other users, or attempting to disrupt the platform.

3. Content & communications

Content posted by county officials reflects the views of those officials, not necessarily of CivicConnect. You retain ownership of content you submit, and grant CivicConnect a non-exclusive license to display and route it as needed to operate the Services.

4. Intellectual property

The CivicConnect brand, software, and design are owned by TeAM and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute them without permission.

5. Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. CivicConnect is not a substitute for emergency services — call 911 in an emergency.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TeAM and CivicConnect shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Services for violations of these Terms or as required by law.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance.
